Getting Started with Bid Grid

Welcome to Bid Grid! This guide will walk you through creating your first RFP project from start to finish.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Sign up for a free account at getbidgrid.com. You'll be asked to verify your email address.

Step 2: Set Up Your Organization

After registering, you'll be prompted to set up your organization profile. This information appears on your RFP documents:

  • Organization Name - Your company or department name
  • Logo - Appears on the cover page of generated PDFs
  • Contact Information - Phone, email, and address

Step 3: Create Your First RFP

Click "New RFP" from your dashboard to start the guided wizard:

  1. Basics - Enter the project title, category, description, and key dates
  2. Scope - Define the scope of services (use AI to generate sections!)
  3. Evaluation - Set your evaluation criteria and weights
  4. Attachments - Upload supporting documents
  5. Review - Preview and select your tier

Step 4: Choose Your Tier

  • Free Preview - See the first 5 pages of your RFP
  • RFP Creator ($39) - Full professional PDF with your branding
  • RFP Complete ($89) - Everything above plus vendor portal and AI analysis

Step 5: Share with Vendors

If you chose RFP Complete, you'll get a public vendor portal link. Share this with potential vendors so they can submit proposals directly.

Step 6: Analyze Responses

Once vendors submit, use the Bid Grid analysis to compare proposals, view scores, and download your Decision Report.
